Thanks for using Tab Folio. These terms govern your use of our tab management extension and subscription services. By creating an account and using the extension, you agree to these terms.

By creating an account and using this extension, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the extension.

What This Extension Does

Tab Folio helps you:

• Organize and group your browser tabs using AI
• Automatically tag and categorize saved pages
• Search through your browsing history
• Save and bookmark pages for later

Your tabs, bookmarks, and collections are stored locally in your browser. We only track usage metadata to manage your subscription quota.

Account and Authentication

To use Tab Folio, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us of any unauthorized access

Subscription Plans and Usage Limits

Free Plan: 100 tabs processed per month

Pro Plan: 1,000 tabs processed per month

Usage quotas reset monthly on a rolling 30-day basis from your subscription start date. "Processing a tab" means using AI to analyze and tag a tab or group of tabs.

Billing and Payments

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Upon cancellation:

• You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period
• Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the extension legally and respectfully
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the extension code
• Not use the extension for any harmful or malicious purposes
• Keep your browser and the extension updated for security

Your Data

Your tabs, bookmarks, tags, and AI analysis results are stored locally on your device. We only store account information and usage metadata on our servers as described in our Privacy Policy. You own your data and can delete your account at any time.

No Warranty

The extension is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we can't guarantee it will work perfectly in every situation or that it will always be available.

Limitation of Liability

Since everything runs locally on your device and we don't collect data, we're not liable for any data loss, damage, or issues that may occur. Always keep backups of important information.

Third-Party AI Services

This extension uses AI models for tagging and organization. While we process everything locally, the quality of AI results may vary. We're not responsible for any inaccuracies in AI-generated tags or groupings.

Updates and Changes

We may update the extension from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We'll update these terms if anything significant changes and notify you through the extension or store listing.

Termination

You can stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the extension at any time, though we'll do our best to provide notice if we do.

Open Source

This extension may include open source components. Those components are subject to their own licenses, which we respect and comply with.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with local laws.
